Hookpost CLI
We gave Claude one sentence. It drafted a week of posts.
One prompt and a notes file. Claude Code read the notes, checked each network’s limits through Hookpost, and saved 21 drafts into the Hookpost calendar: one a day on LinkedIn, Threads and Facebook for 9–15 November. The video is that session, replayed from its log.
Install, sign in, post
The hookpost CLI is on npm and needs Node.js 18 or later. Start the trial, copy your API key from Settings → Developers, then:
npm install -g hookpost hookpost auth login hookpost channels hookpost post "Hello" --channel abc123
Run the commands one at a time: hookpost auth login asks for your API key, then the API host (press Enter to keep the default). Replace abc123 with an id from hookpost channels. With no --at, the post goes into the next free slot of your posting schedule; add --at and an ISO date for an exact time, --now to publish straight away or --draft to save a draft. In CI, set HOOKPOST_API_KEY instead of signing in.
The same key connects Claude and other AI assistants (Claude, every MCP client) and the REST API.
Where it publishes
In the 30 days to 22 October 2026, Hookpost published posts to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Discord and Slack. 18 networks can be connected in all.
