Pricing questions
- Does Hookpost charge per social channel?
- No. Every plan is a flat price, monthly or yearly, and the channel count is a limit inside the plan, not a per-channel fee. Each connected profile or page counts as one channel.
- What currencies can I pay in?
- In India, plans are billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay: UPI Autopay, a debit or credit card, or NetBanking. Outside India they are billed in US dollars by card, $19 or $29 a month. The plan cards on this page show the currency you would be billed in; if it looks wrong, email [email protected].
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Every new workspace starts with a 3-day trial of Standard or Pro, with the plan's full limits, then the plan's price: in India ₹0 today and ₹599/month for Standard after, paid by UPI AutoPay or a card; outside India $19/month for Standard after, by card. You can cancel at least 24 hours before the first charge to pay nothing.
- What happens when I hit the monthly post limit?
- Publishing is blocked for the rest of the billing month once the plan limit is reached. The limits are enforced in code, not just advertised, so the number on this page is the number you get.
- When am I charged?
- Once per workspace, the first plan starts with a 3-day trial. On a plan in rupees, starting it takes a ₹5 check that is refunded straight away. The first charge is taken automatically on the date shown at checkout and in the welcome email, and your bank may start it up to a day before, so cancel at least 24 hours before that date if you do not want to continue. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing and keeps your access until that date.
- Is there a yearly plan?
- Yes. Plans are billed monthly unless you choose yearly at checkout. In India, Standard: ₹5,990/year (2 months free), billed in rupees by UPI AutoPay or card and renewed once a year. The first plan a workspace subscribes to, yearly included, starts with the 3-day trial, and the yearly price is charged when the trial ends.
- How does this compare with Buffer, Hootsuite and Postiz?
- Buffer charges per channel, $5 a channel a month billed yearly, so 5 channels cost $25 a month; it also has a free plan (3 channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel (refills as posts publish)). Hootsuite charges per user: ₹1,999 a user a month billed yearly in India, for up to 10 accounts. Postiz Standard is $23 a month billed yearly for 5 channels, after a 7-day trial. Hookpost Standard is ₹599 a month ($19 outside India) for 5 channels, and Pro is ₹1,999 a month ($29 outside India) for 20 channels and up to 15 team members, after a 3-day trial.
