Independence Day 2027 is on Sunday, 15 August 2027, a gazetted holiday on the Government of India's (DoPT) list. In 2027 it shares the day with Milad-un-Nabi (subject to moon sighting) and Parsi New Year, and Raksha Bandhan follows two days later. Plan separate posts rather than one combined greeting.
